The DOLPHIN IABP balloon (specifically the 30cc version) is used in conjunction with an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) to support heart function in patients with certain cardiac conditions. The IABP helps to improve blood circulation and oxygen supply to the heart and other organs when the heart is unable to pump enough blood. The 30cc balloon, part of the Dolphin inflation device from Vygon, is designed to be used in various interventional procedures.
